49ers Game

What better way to start a brand new year than go to a football game in California? Today we went to the San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks game @ Levi Stadium. For a few of us, this was our first football game ever. I always thought there is no atmosphere anywhere in the world better than that of an NHL hockey game, but now its questionable. Football is sooo cool to watch even if you don’t have a fkn clue what is going on.We were very lucky to get our hands on field passes that allowed us to visit the field to watch warmups before the game started. The stadium itself was amazing. It was so beautiful and so big, they also played sick music. After we went down to the field and took what some would think is way too many pictures, we went to the club lounge where we got lunch. Just like any other sports stadium the food was average and wayyyy over priced…I’m talking $9 for a soft pretzel. After we finished pigging out on hot dogs, pretzels, fries, burgers and chicken fingers (this was very rare so yes, we took advantage) we went up to our seats which were very high but gave us a good view of the entire field. After 2 quarters of listening to my dad educate us on exactly what was going on throughout the game we took a trip to the sports shop where we picked up a few shirts and a hat. The entire store was 30% off today because it was the last 49ers game of the season. Thank god for that because when I got home I noticed that one of the sleeves on my shirt was visibly shorter than the other. After we did a little shopping we sat back down in our seats and watched the third quarter. It was a close game (surprisingly) but we decided to leave after the third quarter to beat traffic. Even though the 49ers lost it was an amazing day. Shout out to Luke Wilson (fellow windsor Boy) who scored a pretty sweet touchdown for the Seattle Seahawks..even though we were supposed to be cheering for the 49ers we were still rooting for Luke.  Some of us got to experience our first ever NFL game ever and we all got to spend an entire day of quality time together!
